The 34-room Copper King Mansion was built in 1848 as the home of William Andrews Clark, one of the original 'Copper Kings' who helped to create the state of Montana. Today, the prestigious Cote family has done everything to keep the home exactly how it was during the 1800s; the floors made of nine different types of wood are exactly the same as they once were. The mansion is located in the northwestern region of town, within walking distance of the St. James Healthcare building.
